BOARD OF DIRECTORS

The Board of Directors at the Glendale Heights Chamber of Commerce consists of leaders who provide strategic guidance, oversight, and support for the Chamber's mission. This team is responsible for setting organizational policies, ensuring financial stability, and representing the interests of the business community to drive economic growth and future prosperity.

April Hieronymus, President

April has been proudly serving the real estate needs of Dupage County since 2015. Her first-hand knowledge and years of experience are invaluable to her customers' achieving their unique real estate goals. She prides herself in going above and beyond for their customers and offers several services, including staging and organizing the home for your move. From guiding buyers to their perfect home to helping sellers earn top dollar, April's expertise in the local market, paired with her mastery of the real estate process makes her the go-to agent for DuPage County real estate. She's personally dedicated to continuing to offer home buyers and sellers the best, and holds several designations such as Seniors Real Estate Specialist and Accredited Buyers Representative to provide the highest level of service possible. Likewise, April's committed to being there each step of the way for every customer - from negotiations to closing and beyond.

Connie Barreras, Treasurer

Connie is the president of the Kiwanis Club of Glendale Heights and past Lt. Governor for Kiwanis Division 9. Connie is also on the board of the Glenside Public Library District and was a past president. She has lived in Glendale Heights for over 35 years with her husband and has two adult children who attended Marquardt Schools and Glenbard East High School. Connie enjoys volunteering and attending events in Glendale Heights. Her mission is to get more people in the community to discover the value of volunteerism. 

Ken Edl,

Director

Ken is currently a Senior Vice President in the Business Banking group of Bloomingdale Bank and Trust, A Wintrust Community Bank. In this role, he is responsible for the business development of new commercial banking clients for the Bank as well as managing his portfolio of commercial clients. Prior to joining Wintrust, he maintained similar roles at two other Banks in Bloomingdale. He has over 25 years of commercial banking experience within DuPage county. Ken holds a Bachelor’s Degree from Elmhurst University with majors in Finance and Economics. He also received his Master’s Degree in Business Administration from DePaul University.

Keith Knautz,

Director

Keith is the Director of Leisure Services for the Village of Glendale Heights. For over 25 years, he has been serving the citizens of Glendale Heights as a Village employee overseeing Parks and Recreation, Glendale Lakes Golf Club and the Linda Jackson Center for Senior Citizens. Previously, Keith has served as President of the Glendale Heights Chamber of Commerce and currently, he is the President of NEDSRA (Northeast DuPage Special Recreation Association).
